You can now log in to your account at the Global Studies website and select courses for the winter semester.

Please note, there may be some last minute changes to the schedule. We will keep you posted.

After the courses start, there is a 2-week grace period, when you can switch courses. Please use the website to sign yourself out from courses you don't want to attend.

For questions on ECTS points, schedule, seminars etc. please contact your program coordinator.

All courses on our website are assigned both to 1st and 2nd year modules. You can clearly see module allocations here: http://www.gs.uni.wroc.pl/emgs-wroclaw/emgs-courses-wroclaw

On the course selection page, all courses had two color badges - one for the 1st year module and one for the 2nd year module. We've changed this, so you can only see the module number relevant for your year of studies.

Also, we would like to remind you that you can select any available courses in the calendar view.

Dear Students, today at 12.00 a.m. the USOS system will be closed, i.e. the deadline for obtaining credits. If tomorrow morning you will find that you have the incorrect assessment (either in the system is the lack of any grade, even though you received a credit from your course), then you have three days to submit a written complaint and talk with your teacher. Please double-check your grades in the USOS, exam cards and index!

Erasmus Mundus Global Studies

On this webpage we would like to present to you the University of Wroclaw and the Erasmus Mundus Global Studies Program (EMGS). The project, which began in 2005, is supported by the European Commission and is a two years Master's Course. It is offered to students who are interested in analyzing the social, cultural and historical contexts of globalization processes.

This curriculum acts as a forum for interdisciplinary debate, focusing on the European perspective.

The EMGS is active within five European universities: the London School of Economics (UK), the University of Leipzig (Germany), the University of Vienna (Austria), the University of Roskilde (Denmark) and the University Wrocław (Poland) - with six partner universities in Canada (Dalhousie), USA (Santa Barbara, University of California), South Africa (Stellenbosch), Australia (Macquarie, Sydney), China (Fudan Shanghai), India (Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi)

Information on the webpage are addressed to students, who spend at least one semester of EMGS in Wroclaw. You find here details on the program, procedures and life in the city of Wroclaw and Poland.

If you look for information on the whole Global Studies consortium and programs of all universities, please visit the website:  http://www.uni-leipzig.de/~gesi/index.php?id=57/
