Model ASEM 2012: Call for Applications
Model ASEM Summit 2012 is an international roving conference and will engage 138 outstanding senior undergraduates and graduate students who are citizens from any of the 46 states in the ASEM process. By the Rector's decison there will be no classes on Thursday 10th of May 2012 because of student's holiday (Juwenalia). Instead the Thursday's classes will be organized on Friday 11th of May 2012.

The Institute of International Studies invites all the students to a lecture of Mr. Chad Evans Wyatt, an American photograper, dedicated to his project "Roma Rising" (more details can befound here: http://www.romarising.com/en/index.html). The lecture will be in English and will start on Tuesday 24th of April at 12:00 in room no. 237 in the Institute of International Studies.

Erasmus Mundus Global Studies
On this webpage we would like to present to you the University of Wroclaw and the Erasmus Mundus Global Studies (EMGS) Program in the field of higher education. The program, which began in 2005, is financed by the European Commission and is a two years Master's Course. This program is offered to students who are interested in analyzing the social, cultural and historical contexts of globalization processes. This set of curriculum acts as a forum for interdisciplinary debate, focusing on the European perspective. The EMGS is active within four European universities: the London School of Economics (UK), the University of Leipzig (Germany), the University of Vienna (Austria) and the University Wrocław (Poland) - with four partner universities in Dalhousie (Canada), Santa Barbara (USA), Stellenbosch (South Africa) and Sydney (Australia).
The first and second sections of this webpage contain general information about the Erasmus Mundus Program and the "Global Studies - European Perspective" Master's Course. You will find information about the admission process, grants, tuition fees, as well as the prospectus and the application. The third part will inform you about the Erasmus Mundus Global Studies Program at the University of Wrocław, with a description about the lectures and seminars as well as the schedule for the current semesters. Furthermore, to make sure your stay and study in Poland and Wrocław are pleasant, there is a fourth section with a small guidebook including some practical information about the University, VISA regulations, tips what to do when you get ill, how to keep in touch with your family, as well as how to enjoy your free time.
